Description
This 86-piece socket wrench set is supplied with 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) and 3/8 inch (9.53 mm) drive tools and is described as a complete mechanic tool set. The set is intended for automotive, workshop and household maintenance where a range of socket sizes and two drive sizes is required. Typical applications may include light mechanical work, furniture assembly, appliance repairs and general fitting tasks, subject to the correct socket being selected for each fastener. The combination of 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch drive sizes is intended to suit smaller and medium fasteners, whilst the socket wrench format supports routine tightening and loosening work. Users should select the appropriate socket and drive size for the fastener and should confirm that the torque applied is suitable for the task and tool being used. The set should be kept in a case or organiser between jobs and inspected periodically for missing or damaged pieces. Any worn or damaged item should be replaced before further use.
